About Istar

A direct-manufacturing dental laboratory founded in 2012 - full-service, in-house production, and a team built to communicate across time zones.

Who we are

Istar Dental Lab is a full-service dental laboratory and direct manufacturing facility founded in 2012. We are not a trading company and not a middleman: every major production step - from case data receiving and CAD design to 3D printing, CAM milling, porcelain work, polishing, quality inspection and packing - happens inside our own facilities.

Our laboratories are located in Shenzhen and Huizhou, China, producing for dental practices, clinics, DSO groups and outsourcing laboratories in the United States and Europe, including the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, the UK, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Our lab & team

The lab is organised into departments that sit on the same production floor: CAD design, milling, implant restoration, ceramic and metal work, removable dentures, quality control, and customer service & case coordination. Department integration is the point: a case that crosses disciplines - an implant crown on a milled bar, a guard matched to a reconstruction - is coordinated internally, not bounced between suppliers.

Design and production teams work in shifts to overlap with European and US working hours, and every account has a named case coordinator plus a technical contact for design questions. Video case reviews are routine - ask for one on any complex case.

How we work with international clients

English communication throughout, written confirmations for every decision that matters, and a preference profile per account so repeat cases do not restart from zero. White-label service is available for outsourcing laboratories, including packaging and communication under your brand.

Visit or audit us

Clients are welcome to visit our Shenzhen and Huizhou facilities for factory tours and production-line walk-throughs, or to arrange video factory inspections and supplier audits. Contact your case coordinator or sales to schedule.
